Terry
Fox Memorial: This memorial erected in honour of Terry Fox is
located on the outskirts of the city of Thunder Bay in Northwestern
Ontario. It was at this point in 1980 that the return of Terry's cancer
forced him to give up his dream of running across Canada. This brave
and determined young man died in June of 1981 at the age of twenty-three
but his great courage still lives on in the hearts and minds of all
Canadians. |
